Mark Handley of North County Capital Corporation, A Professional
Real Estate Loan Brokerage, recently renewed his designation of
Certified Mortgage Consultant, the highest designation available
in the mortgage industry.
The National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) requires
a very rigorous set of criteria and passing an extensive exam
before issuing the designation. The designation establishes
professional credibility and commitment to the industry. In
addition, continuing education must be completed every three
years, whereas typical real estate licensees (including Realtors)
have four years.
According to NAMB statistics, Mark is the only Certified
Mortgage Consultant in San Diego County. Only 16 others in
the State of California, and 137 nationwide have achieved this
high accomplishment of professionalism. Mark first earned the
designation in 1998.
What does this mean to the typical consumer? Mark says "It
allows the consumer to have the same level of confidence as in
other designated professionals such as Certified Public Accountants
and Certified Financial Planners. It is my mission to assist my
clients in utilizing other people's money to acquire appreciating
assets on which the profits can be 100% tax free. Of course, I
recommend working in conjunction with their CPAs and CFPs."
